Marvão hosted the international summer school organized by the Iberian Traditional Architecture Prize. This gathering resulted in a handbook of good practice for the valorisation of that municipality's cultural heritage and urban rehabilitation. This was the starting point for a broader intervention upon the "forgotten Portuguese country" and urban territories that call for sustainable architecture.
