Meetings of the European Union's Presidencies

The Serra Henriques Foundation is regularly part of Portuguese delegations in the meetings conducted by the rotating Presidencies of the Council of the European Union in the domains of Cultural Politics, Architecture, Urban Planning and Territorial Cooperation.

In 2015, under the presidency of Luxembourg, the Foundation participated in the annual conference of the Interreg territorial cooperation programme.

In 2016, under the Dutch presidency, the Foundation was part of the European Observation Network for Territorial Development and Cohesion (ESPON), in which 128 delegates from all member states were present. In this occasion, the Foundation presented the project for Valorization of the Cultural and Natural Resources of the Atlantic Area, which was submitted to the European Commission within the sphere of the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme.

In 2013 and 2017, under the presidencies of Ireland and Malta, the Foundation was part of the European Forum for Architecture Policies.
