The Rafael Manzano Prize is called up by INTBAU (International Network for Traditional Architecture & Urbanism/Prince of Wales Foundation) in partnership with the Serra Henriques Foundation, with the High Patronage of his Excellency the President of the Portuguese Republic.

These initiatives to valorise Traditional Architecture have the support of the Richard H. Driehaus Charitable Lead Trust and the collaboration of the Spanish Cultural Heritage Institute, the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage, Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España, the Portuguese Association of Architects, Madrid's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Casa da Arquitectura, Madeira and Azores' Regional Directorates of Culture, Hispania Nostra and the European Year of Cultural Heritage.
