Architecture is the result of a time and a place, of the encounter between culture and nature. Regional circumstances are therefore present, somehow, in the formulation and interpretation of architectural works.

This book is possibly the description of the state of the art of XX century architecture in Galicia. Even though most of the "built landscape" doesn't immediately demonstrate it, the community in-between rural and urban areas, which so well characterizes this region, allows it to bear the hope of finding this new "spatial planning model", with diversity of production, political alternative and environmental balance.
