2018 INTBAU World Congress

Based on perspectives and case studies from around the world, speakers, panels, and audience discussions considered what could lie behind this resurgence. Is it the expression of a quest for identity and meaning? Is it an inevitable, and perhaps temporary, shift into a new period of architectural style? Or does it come from an environmental awareness that resources are finite?
INTBAU is the S.H. Foundation's partner on the Iberian Prize for Traditional Architecture, with the generous support of The Driehaus Foundation. INTBAU (International Network for Traditional Architecture and Urbanism) works under the
patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales
and since 2001 has gained 32 chapters and
nearly 6000 members in over 100 countries worldwide.
This year's World Congress, at the Royal Society of Art, brought together delegates and speakers from
across the world to London to discuss building, architecture, and
urbanism.
