Lisbon Architecture Triennale

Lisbon Architecture Triennale is a strategic partner of the Serra Henriques Foundation in the dynamics of the Architecture Platform. The two entities share the mission of boosting and supporting education, investigation and promotion of knowledge in the domain of Architecture and the way it influences the life and well-being of the populations.

Within this sphere, the Foundation supports Open House Lisboa since 2014 - in a partnership with EGEAC/Municipality of Lisbon - one of the city's most vibrant cultural events.

In collaboration with the Triennale, the Foundation supported the Official Portuguese Representation in the International Exhibition of Architecture (Venice Biennale) - Homeland - News From Portugal - with contents produced by a multidisciplinary team that gathered together 90 professionals from the fields of Architecture, Economics, Sociology, Geography, History, Anthropology, Photography, Law and Design.

The President of the Triennale, Architect José Mateus, is an inherent member of the Consultative Board of Archiprix Portugal, instituted by the Foundation in 2012. At the Triennale's headquarters (Lisbon Municipality's Sinel de Cordes Palace) four editions of the award have already taken place - exhibition, Jury meetings and award ceremony.
