National Architecture Award

The Archiprix Portugal Award was instituted in 2012 by the Archiprix Foundation (Rotterdam) and the Serra Henriques Foundation (Lisbon) involving the Universities, the Portuguese Association of Architects, Lisbon's Architecture Triennale, Casa da Arquitectura, Docomomo Internacional, the Portuguese Association of Urban Planners and the Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects.

The Award annually honours the best Masters Final Projects presented in the areas of Architecture, Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture, highlighting a set of projects that reflects the challenges and aspirations of each candidate, guiding professor and Educational Institutional in the country.

The award honours the excellence of Portuguese education and grants the young architects projection into the beginning of their professional careers. For this, institutional and partner entities establish agreements with relevant entities for the promotion of new talents in the field of Architecture, granting them international projection and privileged public exposure.

Archiprix Portugal fits in the International Archiprix Network constituted by the national awards from Holand, Spain, Chile, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Russian and Central Europe (Austria, Bosnia, Hungary and Croatia). The worldwide scoped award - Archiprix International - is also part of the Archiprix network
